Isabella was born in Salerno (Italy) in 1989 and she has approached photography documenting back stages of some festivals like Giffoni Film Festival, Comicon Naples and International Festival of Journalism of Perugia. Isabella uses street photography to tell stories of internal and decandent urban landscapes, she also uses different photographic formats like archive’s photos, scans and photographic material made by her subjects.
Digital native who defends the democratization of photography, Isabella would change her Sony Alpha just for another Sony Alpha.
She has had the fortune to confront herself with great photographers like Richard Kalvar (Magnum), Moises Saiman (Magnum) and Francesco Zizola (NOOR) who have helped her to structure her narrative and to develop her personal vision. In 2013 she had exhibited in Biennale Architettura of Venice the street series “Human Waste”, about Naples’ emergency in Naples in 2011.
